Crofton Pizza Pans Coming Back at ALDI’s

Crofton Pizza Pans

Who likes to bake a crispy homemade pizza on weekends? Well, I do. It tastes so unique with different toppings, and my family occasionally loves it for dinner after a long week. The Aldi’s nonstick pizza pan and some special ingredients are the secrets behind my delicious pizzas.

The Crofton Pizza Pans are back on this week’s Aldi Finds. I have been waiting for this moment for almost three years now. I already have one of them, and I can’t wait to get one or two more to hold some extra pizzas (mostly during house parties).

Before getting this, I mainly used cast iron pans to make homemade pizza, but once I gave this Crofton pizza pans a try, I was left amazed at how good it turned out. To make the perfect dough, I like using most of the Aldi ingredients as the result is always satisfying.

Meanwhile, let’s get into this quick review of the Crofton Pizza Pans and see if it’s a good deal for you.

Crofton Pizza Pans

The Crofton Pizza Pans are back on the Aldi Finds starting from 01/24/24 for just $3.49. They are available in assorted varieties with two different designs, each in black and gold colors.

The pans have two sizes: the bigger pan is 16 inches (40.6 cm) in diameter, and the smaller pan is 10 inches (25.4 cm).

The 16-inch pan has breathable, vented holes at the bottom that make your pizza crispy and fully cooked, which reduces the chances of getting soggy. The Crofton Pizza Pans have Quan Tanium Nonstick coating for easy use and clean-up. It’s manufactured using aluminized steel construction for superior heat conductivity and distribution.

The heavy-duty pizza pans are oven-safe as well as dishwasher-safe. However, I always prefer hand washing them to retain the nonstick coating for longer.

I have been using my 16’’ Crofton pizza pan since 2021, and I love that it is big enough to nicely cook the huge frozen ‘take and bake’ pizzas, my homemade ones, and simply to warm up the takeout pizzas.

Sometimes, I make gluten-free pizzas, but I mostly love the cheese-rising ones for dinner. The crust is always cornbread-like crispy, and overall, the pizza warps while baking, and later, it flattens out, leaving it on a soft and fluffier size. Surprisingly, the pans also do a great job cooking the Aldi French fries.

Lastly, I love how lightweight and sturdy the pan is. It’s been a long time since I bought this from our nearest Aldi store, and the quality is still the same.

Alternatives to Crofton Pizza Pans:

Finding an exact dupe was difficult, but I have found some amazing alternatives similar to Aldi’s Crofton Pizza Pans.

Have a look at the GoodCook 15’75’’ Carbon Steel Pizza Pan. The pan has vented holes to ensure proper cooking and is dishwasher-safe. It has a nonstick coating and can easily bake a 12-inch pizza.

Another option is the LloydPans Straight-Sided Pizza Pan. It is made of aluminum, and the pan is stick-resistant, utensil-safe, and has a pre-seasoned coating.
If the budget is tight on your part, check out the TeamFar 10-inch Stainless Steel Pizza Pan or the IME Nonstick 10-inch Pizza Pan. I found these two with great ratings and the most affordable out of all the options.

Is it a Good Deal?

The Crofton Pizza Pans are a solid deal at just $3.49. After considering all the positive reviews (including mine), no other pizza pan today can beat the quality and affordability of this one. So, it is worth buying.
