At time of Covid, I got Crane Pedal Exerciser, which helped me to burn calories and take fitness seriously. Honestly, I was just munching snacks sitting on my work desk and feeling guilty about it.

Crane Pedal Exerciser is back at Aldi Week Finds starting from 10/03/2023 at a price of $24.99 only. The crane pedal exerciser was sold at Aldi for $29.99 in the past few years; again, we see the price dropping in Aldi Finds. 

This Crane pedal exerciser is easy to assemble. Start with installing the given AAA 1.5V battery in the battery compartment by removing the digital display. Then install the support bars, and at last, go for installing pedals. Screw the left pedal anti-clockwise and the right pedal clockwise. It took less than 10 minutes for me to complete the assembly of Crane pedal exerciser.

Using Crane Pedal Exerciser at Home & Work Desk

I tried it in my living room (hardwood floors), and it moved too much. So I took an old bath rug, turned it upside down, and placed a pedal exerciser on it, which helped to hold it in place much better. If you want more sturdiness, simply put hand weights on the front, as shown below. 

Using this pedal exerciser while typing isn’t my cup of tea, as it feels weird to type and pedal simultaneously. Also, I stop using it if I need to concentrate on something. The majority of my use of the Crane pedal exerciser is during meetings, where I just need to listen to what the other person is saying. 

Though I doubt whether the knob to make the pedaling more difficult works, I must look at the manual again. It didn’t seem to make much difference. Also, I’m not sure how accurately it counts the burnt calories. I just use it to see the total exercise minutes.

Comparing the prices of pedal exercisers from other brands, it can go from $50 to $200. Aldi selling a Crane pedal exerciser for just $24.99 is great.
